Oxymoron: The Lovliest Nightmare

Today I finished reading my fifth book this year, a delightfully twisted graphic novel from the folks at Comixtribe. Here’s a sample panel from early in the first issue:

Oxymoron is a villain on the order of The Joker who spends this arc tormenting Officer Mary Clark and exposing the hypocrisies he sees in her corrupt city of Swanstown. The book is well written and the art is hauntingly horrifying; this book is not for the faint of heart. Its visceral storytelling raises the question of how far a person can be pushed before he or she becomes evil. Read it if you dare but don’t say I didn’t warn you; you might enjoy it and it will definitely stay with you. Did I enjoy reading this? In truth it’s not that simple.
